Erie Insurance has done it again.
For the second year in a row, ERIE topped the list of mid-cap companies on Forbes magazine’s ranking of America’s 50 Most Trustworthy Financial Companies. The good news comes as ERIE celebrates 90 years of being Above All in Service℠.
“Our Customers – and all consumers – want to know that their insurance company will be responsive to their needs and financially strong enough to pay their claims,” said Terry Cavanaugh, president and CEO of Erie Insurance. “Being named to this list shows our Customers that they can depend on us when we’re most needed.”

The list is based on accounting and governance behaviors gathered by MSCI ESG Research. More than 700 publicly-traded North American companies were assessed on factors including high-risk events, revenue and expense recognition methods, SEC actions and bankruptcy risk.
